The phone comes with 10 different ringtones but only 5 different sounds. I went to My Computer and double clicked on the CD. It has a long cord attached to the phone about 6 foot in length. I am running Windows XP Home SP3. I would recommend this to my friends. No problem after that.
The sound quality is very good. At first I had some problems installing the software on my 1st computer. Because of a Windows update, the autorun feature on my computer is turned off. 1 sound is either loud or soft.
This is a great phone that can be used with any computers & laptops without having to install the softwear
I bought this when last in the states and wish I could return it - but not worth the shipping* Does not play well with others - constantly screwing up settings and if you use it will minimize the Skype window.* Poor user manual - looks like an after thought* No support on the web page* The concept is great -- The performance sucks. - I suspect the problem is the software - I am using a Thinkpad and XP and it just does not work well at all BOTTOM LINE - DO NOT BUY
I was worried that such a cheap phone would not work well, especially with a wireless connection. There is a relatively lengthly cord attached to the phone, & it's more comfortable to hold then my cell phone.
All in all a good phone, especially for the price. The only complaints I have with it is the Skype interface/settings, but that isn't the phones fault.
Nice display. I'll have to look at the manual to figure them out.
I purchased this product to use as my office phone with Skype while I work at home with my baby. But I have had absolutely no problems.
I do wish some of the phone settings themselves were easier to discern by the graphics.
The MS message is "driver issues." Tried updating phone driver, but didn't fix the problem. I use it for MSN Messenger and about every third time I use it, the phone crashes my PC. Phone does work though and you can't beat free PC to PC calls anywhere in the world.
